Are you ready for a different kind of Belly Dance show?! Come to the debut of "Sa'diyya Presents Belly Dance Improv Night & Showcase" on Friday February 19, 2016 starting at 7:30pm at Giovanni's Restaurant & Bar in Dallas, TX!
Show starts at 8:00pm. Persian/Italian Buffet Dinner costs $25 or $10 for kids 10 and under. Soda and tea are included. Tax and gratuity are not included, so be sure to tip your waiters nicely!
Dancers will be encourged to perform improvised performances with music chosen by either the audience or Sa'diyya! Registered performers don't have to perform imrpovised dances if there is a special choreography someone wants to present or a group dancing.
But, if you want to take the challenge of improvising your perfomance, come with an open mind and spirit! Allow the audience to be a part of your performance experience in more than just watching by actually letting someone of your choice hand pick the music for you!
Performers can choose to perform either Cabaret/Raks Sharqi style, Folkloric or Fusion. The music chosen for the performer will be based on the dancer's chosen style (so costuming at least vaguely matches music and dance style). ;)
And, there will be a wild card category for anyone who dares try.....
This is not a competition. Just a super-fun, friendly showcase of Belly Dance performances!
