How to Identify and Dance to Various Middle Eastern Rhythms, 2-4 Hours:
In this specialty workshop, students will learn how to identify the most popular rhythms used in bellydance music.  Then students will learn a variety of combinations that match each rhythm.  Having the knowledge and ability to recognize Middle Eastern rhythms enhances dancers' creativity and musical interpretation.  Students shouldn't feel afraid or intimidated by musical rhythms.  It does take time to learn and I.D. them, but it will be one of the best things a student can do to advance her dance!
