This is an award-winning performance by Florida dancer, Isis San Miguel! I really love this performance of hers because she is completely "in the moment!" Her performance to this live music is magical! When I perform at my weekly gigs, which are 75% improvisational, I try to remember to have this type of uninhibited and lively feeling that Isis San Miguel has mastered in this performance! She is inspirational! Improvisational dancing is becoming a lost art in the world of Belly Dance. This performance is a prime example of how an improvisational dance can often times be so much richer than a choreographed performance. |
